MiniGames - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the MiniGames bot ("the bot", "we") collects, how it is used, and how long it is kept when you interact with the bot on Discord. By using MiniGames, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

To run games and keep score, the bot stores:

• Your Discord user ID, used to identify you for scores, leaderboards, and profiles.
• Your username, stored with your scores so leaderboards can show a name.
• Your game results and scores, which for most games are added up over time.
• If the daily rewards feature is enabled: your coin balance, daily streak, and the date you last claimed a reward.

The bot also reads the content of messages you send while a game is running (your guesses and commands) so it can respond. This content is used as it arrives and is not saved.

The bot does not store your server's contents, and scores are global rather than per server.

2. How We Use the Information

The data above is used only to run games, respond to your commands, keep your scores and profile, maintain leaderboards, and (where enabled) track daily coins and streaks.

3. Data Retention

Your user ID, username, scores, and any economy data are stored for as long as the bot keeps them, so that leaderboards and profiles keep working. They remain until you ask us to delete them or they are otherwise removed by the bot owner. Message content is not retained.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties, except where required to comply with the law, such as a lawful request from law enforcement. The bot does send its total server count, a single number with no personal data, to the listing site Top.gg.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the data the bot stores. No method of storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You can ask what data the bot holds about you, ask us to delete your stored data (including your scores and economy data), and stop using or remove the bot at any time. To make a request, contact us through the support server: https://discord.gg/3UpnJhjkKZ.

7. Children's Privacy

MiniGames is not intended for anyone under 13, in line with Discord's Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that we hold such data, we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will announce them through the bot or the support server. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
